Maybe not if you’re a big corporation (assuming of course, corporations are people). With new social media tools enabling mere citizens to stand together against decisions that affect them, even 4th graders can out maneuver a big corporation.
Case and point, 4th graders from Brookline, Massachusetts were disappointed that Universal Studios’ interpretation of The Lorax contained no environmental message. They petitioned the studio to include Dr. Seuss’ environmental message using the online petition tool at Change.org. The petition went viral. The studio acquiesced. The kids won.
What are you willing to fight for?
